Speech Therapy
Pediatric speech therapy helps children improve their speech, language, and communication skills through specialized techniques and exercises tailored to their needs. Therapists work with children who have difficulties with speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, or swallowing to enhance their communication abilities and boost confidence in social situations.
Language
Pediatric language therapy addresses communication challenges in children with diagnoses like autism, Down syndrome, or developmental delays, aiding "late-talkers" too. Tailored techniques enhance language skills crucial for their overall development.
Articulation
Pediatric therapy for articulation focuses on assessing and addressing difficulties in speech sound production in children, often through targeted interventions such as articulation exercises, oral motor activities, and phonological awareness training.
AAC
AAC involves using tools like communication boards or devices to supplement or replace speech for individuals with communication impairments, allowing them to express themselves and engage with others effectively.
